🎋 EQUIPMENT GUIDEBOOK 🎋
In Character many items your character may need exist, from the basic generic mass produced kunai all the way up to fully customized one of a kind weapons, puppets, and other things. On Shinobi-Rising all those many thing's are covered under our Equipment System presently from a simple dagger, medicine, to summons.
3 types of equipment exist, they are as follows, though for now only Basic and Custom are accessible, Advanced will not be introduced for a few months.
Basic Equipment: While customizable in terms of what the item actually is their is no customization within their abilities or statics they're all generic openly available average quality items of E rank.: Click this text to go to the Basic Equipment Shop.
Custom Equipment: Equipment with varying stats and customizable abilities based on it's rank, the custom equipment store also provides a few basic default pre-made pieces. Equipment Statistic's And Ability Slot Chart
Rank | Durability | Damage Bonus | Ability Slots |
E | 80 | 5 | 0 |
D | 160 | 10 | 1 |
C | 200 | 15 | 2 |
B | 280 | 20 | 3 |
A | 320 | 25 | 4 |
S | 400 | 30 | 5 |
Durability: An Equipment's durability is how much damage it can take in an event thread before it breaks and the cost of purchase needs to be paid again to repair it before it can be used in another. Equipment will not take damage unless directly struck by an attack. Buffs/Debuffs do not apply to damaging equipment at present moment.
Damage Bonus: When a piece of equipment could reasonably apply a bonus to something like attack, defense, or healing it provides a flat boost to the number done after buffs/debuffs are applied. Sometimes such as for a necklace as a piece of support equipment this number won't count for anything.
Ability Slots: The number of slots which can be used to make abilities on the equipment. The abilities of an equipment piece are capped at the rank of the equipment, so for example a D rank equipment ability on a weapon can only ever do D rank damage. You don't need to use every slot and can combine slots to make a single slot of the rank above.
While Shinobi-Rising encourages creativity we do enforce a degree of 'reasonability' and bringing 50 swords by hand into a thread isn't it. Without circumstances to change it one may only bring 3 offensive, 2 defensive, and 5 support items into a thread. Scrolls on their own can increase these numbers by one each. Having Fuinjutsu and scrolls increases the number by double. However, you can still only use a reasonable amount of equipment at a time. Unless you have some method to do so you're not wielding 9 weapons at once.
