🎋 GENERAL RULES 🎋
#1. Behave in a respectful manner. This means that even if you disagree with someone you shouldn’t be putting them down, no excessive bragging should be happening, if someone expresses discomfort then shift the topic, etc. Also, this rule works both ways: don't push your own views, don’t always shift the topic away from other member’s achievements, don’t come in just to stop a conversation everyone else is enjoying. We won’t tolerate any disrespect, the discord and site should both be a safe place for all members.
#2. No Hentai or Ecchi faceclaims or art pieces should be used on site, there is a large age range for membership from 13 up and some of these things may be inappropriate for younger members to view. It doesn’t matter if you’ve cropped it, any kid on the internet knows how to reverse search an image. Anything along this vein will be warned if you actually place it onto your profile.
#3. This is a pg-13 site and as such if you wouldn’t find it in a pg-13 movie? It shouldn’t be on this site. This means no excessive gore, no detailed nudity, no sexual implications when nudity is present in a thread, no excessive or detailed drug use, basically any theme inappropriate for a young teenager to read in detail should be absent or lightly implied.
#4. No spamming, things like chain messages, advertising in the wrong area’s, posting things in the wrong section for benefits, and such activities are forbidden.
#5. You should have an account per character that makes tracking, rewards, and everything far easier. However, you are also free and encouraged to make an OOC account on top of this especially if you wish to eventually join the staff or event team as we will not apply those roles to character accounts.
#6. Minimum word count per post is 50 words for most threads but event threads this word count minimum increases to 100.
#7. No stealing, plagiarizing, slandering, etc sort bad behavior will be tolerated.
#8. If something has taken longer than 48 hours to be graded you can put it back up for grading but, you must notify your current grader you have done this via discord DM or site PM
#9. Anything that needs graded can be linked to in the discord staff request or simply posted up in an appropriate turn in thread on site, it will be seen either way.
#10. The large hover avatar is 250x350 in size. The smaller icon avatar is 150x150. The gif icon is 150x150 but does not necessarily have to be a gif. Also please keep signatures a decent size as to not stretch the page.
🎋 IC RULES 🎋
#1. No powerplaying, auto hitting, god modding, or meta gaming. If you’re controlling another’s character, automatically succeeding against them offensively every time, playing as anything close to invincible, or using knowledge your character wouldn’t have IC.
#2. Killing other player’s characters without permission is strictly prohibited. However, this doesn’t mean staff will protect your character if your character is objectively doing something stupid that is assured to get them killed like a level one genin using a forbidden jutsu on an enemy kage. In cases like this, staff always vote on whether it's an abuse of the no player killing rule for the character to survive. However, we won’t look for these so if you think an abuse of this rule is happening you must report it for us to evaluate it. If you knowingly and willingly enter a thread labeled as death enabled and get killed that's on you and we’ll do nothing.
#3. If a thread is death enabled it must say so in bold red letters and underlined at least font 5 at the top of the first post, must be in the normal site font nothing fancy. If the first post is edited and thus it can not be proven that death enabled wasn't edited in afterwards, than it is not a death enabled death.
#4. This site is plot based and thus even though we have a system we follow it isn’t always the end all be all, creativity and story counts for a lot. The main point is to have fun with others.
🎋 OOC RULES 🎋
#1. There are no rules regarding how many character’s you have but on a guideline basis you shouldn’t make so many character’s that you can’t post with each at least once a month.
#2. Two kinds of NPC’s exist, fodder like random villagers, inn keepers, etc with zero protection nor consistency and Important NPC’s which are registered through the NPC system due to consistency, role in a character’s story, and are given minor protections from death only presentably killable by other player’s in events you’re present in.
#3. This site is Alternate Universe thus your character can not be one of the canon one’s nor related to them.
#4. No disrespecting/badgering/harassing staff. If you believe an issue has occurred you go to higher staff with proof or file an anonymous report with proof.
#5. We run on a system that is mostly three strikes your out, wherein getting 3 warnings in the time span of a month equals a temp ban and three bans equals a perma ban. However their is occasionally staff judgement used for drastic cases or if we believe someone is using the three strikes system to get away with shitty behavior.
#6. If you're reporting a fellow member please provide proof of your claims, screenshots, dates/keywords to look up, something, it is not on staff to prove your claims and we will not treat people as guilty until proven innocent. However, we understand this is not always possible so you may still contact us without those things, don't be afraid to, just please provide as much detail as possible and know without proof the incident will simply be recorded for staff to keep in mind in case it supports a future report that does have proof, a moment staff catches someone acting up in VC, etc, won't go anywhere on it's own but it still counts for something. This prevents people abusing reports to bully other members.
