Systems Upgrades
Shinobi-Rising has undergone several system upgrades and a few clarifications. They are as follows with some of these changes resulting in updated guidebooks
- The stat system was unified removing the difference between dynamic and static in favor of a similar but easier to utilize version.
- Jutsu Training Word Counts were added to progression guidebook and creation guidebook to make them easier to find.
- Buff rules were changed to largely eliminate the possibility of more difficult percentage based math for most things in favor of solid additive and subtractive math. Things such as Damage Reduction and the Regen's are now the only things measured in percentages. Their is now text explaining how much something may be buffed on all fronts. One more rule has also changed in buffing to have buffs not tied to damage but rather an element or specialization for the same purpose's which allows more varied builds.
-Status Effect rules were update to make stun locks and the like less likely alongside making them more fair in general.
- Technique Ranges were adjusted to match more closely with the way speed now works in this upgrade changing from solid numbers to the more plot based explanation of self, touch, close, low, mid, long, . Which are all exactly as they sound.
- Monthly Missions now have their own board.
-Jin regen was 'reduced' in truth the 1 was a typo and it was before launch still meant to be 5%. The chakra boost has also been edited to match to new system rules.
- Added clarification on when abilities can be made along with a clause to protect members from an ability being made to counter during a thread.
-Gaining an elemental affinity through clan/clanless abilities no longer involves pushing the rank another affinity is gained back. In addition their is now a section in creation involving element slots and affinities.
-Some field's shared with combat sheet's have been removed from bio requirements to make character creation quicker/easier.
-A typo in the lore was fixed.
-If you've made a clan or jutsu don't worry about fixing it to match with the new system staff will slowly be handling this.
- The Bingo systems first version has been added!
The price for rewriting your abilities into something new after they've been approved is now decided. These prices do not reflect if you end up needing to change an ability due to a rule's update and decide to make it something else. Each ability cost's 100,000 Ryō to remake, this has been added to the basic shop.

+ Sign Up's for the One Tails Event have begun.
+ The IC Event has begun, details in event's section.
The next site update will be 7/28 and updates will continue roughly every two weeks for a while eventually dying down to monthly or longer as the site ages.
Everyone who has joined before 7/14 now has the choice between an extra ability or taking an extra element, this choice must be redeemed in staff request so it can be recorded which you've chosen. However, there is no rush to chose.
